A&B Verpackungsmaschinen Manufaktur GmbH presented their products at the globally leading trade show for the fresh produce industry. 

More than 56,000 trade visitors from 132 countries attended the FRUIT LOGISTICA 2011. Dr. Christian Göke , Chief Operating Officer Messe Berlin, stated that:  "Its international scope, global market overview and high level of decision-making authority of the industry representatives attending the trade fair were key quality criteria for this year's FRUIT LOGISTICA. No other event in this industry anywhere in the world brings together trading partners across the global value chain as effectively as FRUIT LOGISTICA. The trade fair is unparalleled as the marketing platform for the global fresh produce industry".

In this setting, A&B Verpackungsmaschinen Manufaktur GmbH for the first time presented their Weighing Machine type ABV–W 1200S, linked with a Poly-Bagger type ABV-V 4600SF. This line is specially designed for weighing and packaging sensitive produce such as apples, pears, avocados, tomatoes, etc.
The special constructional principles that facilitate cleaning and maintenance, and thus reduce downtime, were welcomed heartily with comments such as: “Very good…, bravo…, at last a machine that you don’t break your bones on while trying to clean it“.
Further machines exhibited by ABV were the proven Weighing Machine ABV-W 1200 and the Net Clipping Machine ABV-V 2029.
All machines were ready to run and demonstrated to the specialized public at regular intervals.
